Sweets

Here I have recycled some old coffee jars,
decorated with fabric, punched papers and
wooden shapes and filled with some sweets.

This makes a great gift!

This card was made for three nuns who have each served either
60yrs, 50yrs and 25yrs.

I was rather stuck on what to do for this card but in the end I am
rather please with the outcome.

I have some exiting news!!
I have been asked to become a design team
member for 'Cards for Men'
I just hope I can keep up with their
high standards of work.

I also hope (a lot of hope's here) that I can do enough for
them without being a hindrance as we are now in full
flow with our vintage rallies and will be showing next
week at the Royal Bath & West then a quick
turnaround to West Bay Rally all go around here and
in the middle of this do my day job and hopefully
fit in some me time and craft.

Anyway there is an old saying if you want a job done ask a busy person!

Home to Nest

Hi everyone some more pictures for you.

I have made three different cards here using Lucy Cromwell's
range Home to Nest by Papermania.

This range is great for both male and female cards.

The papers and decoupage are from the Ultimate pack
all I have added is some card to mat and layer onto,
some buttons and ribbon.

This is a side gate fold card, and the gate fold
has got a mat and layer with ribbon tied into
a knot for added interest.

This is a DL card that I have cut a window
aperture in so the bird box decoupage stands out
and the papers within are on show.

This DL Card has the bird boxes standing proud
showing the brilliant paper within.

I just love Lucy Cromwell's work.

Out of control 'Country Calamity'

These cards are a commission for a family
friend who loves the country and
horse riding - but not always very successfully.

I have used several different stamps from
various manufactures to make up this scene.

I cut two pieces of white card approx half
an inch smaller than the than the stepper card
once mat and layered on to kraft cases stock.

The white card was then coloured with
three different distress inks to create a
coloured background. I then stamped my
scenes and water coloured these.

I had great fun putting these together.

Please leave a comment - Thank You.

The Old Tractor

Here is four cards made with the same digi
stamp image, but using different colours on
the image.

I have mixed various papers from my crafting
stash. The images have been cut using
Xcut dies which always produce a clean cut.

For the corners I have used Woodware invert
corner punch which is a staple in my crafting.

For this last card I have used an embossing
folder on the first mat and layer and then
lined the image up and embossed this separately.
I embossed the two pieces separately as I have
raised the tractor image off the card to give some depth.
I am really please with the overall effect.
