House Mouse

Speedy Recovery

This card was made for a neighbour who's friend had just had a heart by-pass.

A5 white card blank.
Nitwit backing paper mat and layered
onto black card stock to frame.
Nitwit paper corners cut with a sizzix die.
Blue organza ribbon tied around the
main body of the card.
House Mouse decoupage cut
and adhered using pinflair glue, so the image
could be shaped and layered
onto black card again to frame it.

House Mouse can have some fiddly bits to it,
but it is up to you whether you want to cut
them out or not.  If you use pinflair gel it
is much easier to glue in place as it is clear.

Diggity Mouse Cup Cake

Cross over folded card

Two cards put together, so you have two flaps,
or a large enough piece of card stock scored
twice to make two flaps and each flap
cut at an angle to make triangles.

Cream Paper mania card used here.  On the flaps
(Diggity backing papers) green and pink paper
mat and layered to the angles. Mouse on cup
cake decoupage mat and layered on to textured
card, so it remains rigid. Anita's pink glittered ribbon
tied in a bow on an angle.

On the second flap
Pink capsule flower and a circle topper
backed on to a die cut foil circle.

The inside of the card is brown Kraft paper and pink
paper mat and layered, with light green triangle
corners embossed in Swiss dot folder to the bottom.
Bunting Xcut die used to cut
plain pink paper four times and holes punched
with baker twine threaded through.  Best Wishes
stamped onto the bunting with pink gems.

Rocking Card

This card was made using a piece of white card stock cut
into a circle and scored down the middle to fold.
I used Paper mania decorative paper cutting the
edge with pinking scissors (both sides covered)
Xcut circle die cut out purple textured card and
adhered pyramage woodland fold to it.
Sentiment from the same range backed onto
the same purple card and three pieces of Anita's
silver glittered ribbon looped and stuck to the back
of the sentiment, before sticking to the card.
I then used paper flowers and leaves
to embellish to rest of the card

Tri Fold Thank You

A4 white card scored into thirds and
then cut at an angle.  Pink capsule
papers cut slightly smaller than each panel
on the card. Then the capsule papers were
embossed with Paper mania Heart Tri Emboss
Folder and chalked. Pick Capsule
flowers and bakers twin to centre.
Large die cut butterfly from Anita's range
adhered down its spin, so both wings
are free. Sentiment from the forever friends range
and inked in pink around the edge.

Demonstration day - Made a card for a lady in the crowd

On one of my demonstration days in
'The Market Gallery', Poole, Dorset,
a lady in the crowd asked if I would
make a card with a photograph of her dog
which she brought with her.
A challenge was undertaken and the
out come was quite good.

I used Portobella road papers,
green textured card for the corners,
punched circle and a punched scalloped
circle inked the edges and hand
written sentiment as was asked for.
Pearl gems added for interest to the
sentiment circle. Polka dot organza ribbon in green
and orange to match the overall
colour scheme of the card
and another three Papermania gems in green
to main card area of the card.

gives some depth. Then mat and layer on to black card,
so the image is framed.  Computer sentiment cut with 1.5"
Xcut circle punch. 2" Xcut scallop punched blue card and
holes punched all around for added interest, lilac button and

the same paper and a piece of ribbon

tri embossed heart red cardstock,
cut into a heart using an Xcut die
layered onto feathered white
mulberry paper.

the white card blank and Xcut heart die
used to cut out the centre, so the main
image can be seen through this.
A piece of acetate cut again the same size
as the white card blank and two strips of red
card cut and embossed using swiss dot folder.
The acetate, fabric paper and one strip
was glued together and placed onto the
